Billy SheehanLive in or around Hollywood? If you do, and you have a jonesin' for a new bass, swing on by Musicians Institute tonight (4/30) for a special record release party for Billy Sheehan's latest, Holy Cow. The first 500 fans to arrive at the MI Amphitheater will be guaranteed seating up close to see the bassist extraordinaire play songs from the record, ask questions, and meet Sheehan one-on-one. Additionally, if you're one of the first 200 to buy Holy Cow at the show, your name will be added to the drawing for a brand-new Yamaha bass guitar, which Sheehan will autograph right on the spot.

Sheehan pulled in a top-notch arsenal of guest performancess on Holy Cow, including Billy Gibbons on "A Lit'l Bit'l Do It To Ya Ev'ry Time," Paul Gilbert on "Dynamic Exhilarator," and bassist Doug Pinnick (King's X) on "Turning Point." Drummer Ray Luzier and shred master Tony MacAlpine also play on the album.
