Happy 67th Birthday Jimmy Page

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page turned 67 on Sunday, January 9th. Pagey's gift for writing timeless riffs and epic songs helped make Led Zeppelin one of the most important rock bands in music history. A devotee of early blues, the guitarist exploited the genre's sound to great effect on such classic riffs as "Heartbreaker," "Black Dog," and "Rock and Roll," while his eager exploration of Middle Eastern sounds ("Kashmir") and psychedelia ("Dazed and Confused") as well as Celtic ("Over the Hills and Far Away") and altered acoustic tunings ("Bron-Y-Aur Stomp") have made him a once-in-a-lifetime talent every aspiring guitarist should study.

I LOVE "Bring It On Home". Thanks for picking that tune! Pagey rules!
