Mumford & Sons "I Will Wait" Guitar Tab Choices

A few weeks back we posted guitar tab to Mumford & Sons' smash hit "I Will Wait." That version (click here) was transcribed using the tuning that the band uses for live performance: Db–Bb–Db–Ab–Db–F (low to high). This week, we've posted the official note-for-note guitar tab (click here) for the song as it was recorded in the studio, using open D tuning, down a half step: Db–Ab–Db–F–Ab–Db.

Each has its advantage; for example, open D tuning is likely more familiar and easier on your guitar's neck and strings than the custom configuration of the live tuning, but the live tuning version offers the banjo part in TAB, if you've got a 5-string banjo.

Either transcription, however, will have you jamming on this monster hit in no time.
