Announcing New G-Plus Song Lessons
Over seven years ago, we brought you a revolutionary new way to learn how to play your favorite songs—a video song lesson featuring a short lesson from an instructor, followed by a performance of the full song, with guitar tab scrolling across the bottom half of the screen.
With our new G-Plus Song lessons, we've taken it to a whole new level. The new G-Plus format combines a video lesson, sheet music, and a full backing track into one powerful new learning tool to help you learn classic songs from legends like Queen and Deep Purple or modern hits by artists like Taylor Swift and System of a Down, among others. With the G-Plus format, you get an in-depth lesson from a professional instructor, walking you through each part of the song, while the corresponding guitar tab is displayed below the video window.
Once you've learned all the parts, you can click the Show Tab button and play through the song. While in that view, you can choose to hear the full-band track, just the guitar part, full band without the guitar, or a click track. You can also slow down the audio as far as 25% while maintaining the original pitch, and use our looping function to concentrate your practice on the tough parts. While you play, a scroller keeps your place in the tab.
At just $2.99 each, our G-Plus Songs are a great bargain, but it gets better. Sign up for our new G-PASS subscription at the low introductory rate of $9.99 per month, and you'll get unlimited access to all of our G-Plus Songs, plus over 30,000 other video songs, video lessons, play-along tracks, guitar tabs, and more. Announcing New G-Plus Beginner Lessons
We're excited to announce our revolutionary new G-Plus Lessons for beginner guitarists. Integrating the best of traditional instructional books, audio resources, and video instruction into one powerful new learning tool, G-Plus Lessons provide a comprehensive learning experience to those who need it most.
Learning guitar online can be a daunting task for beginners. Videos don't always show the examples clearly, and with "print" lessons, you don't know for certain what the examples are supposed to sound like. But with our G-Plus Lessons, you get to see the lesson in "print," hear how each example is supposed to sound via the audio links, and watch a professional guitar teacher cover all of it, step by step, in HD video. G-Plus Lessons really are the next best thing to having a professional teacher in the room with you.
Our G-Plus Lessons are available in five distinct learning paths for beginner guitarists.
Our Electric Guitar method uses a tab-only approach and uses real riffs and songs, like "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Crazy Train," and "Wild Thing" to teach notes and chords.
The Acoustic Guitar method is also a tab-only system, but here we teach chords first, so you can strum along to popular riffs and song like "Free Fallin'," "Space Oddity," and "Eleanor Rigby" right away.
The Traditional Method is for beginning guitarists who want to learn how to play using standard musical notation. It's based on the Hal Leonard Guitar Method—the best-selling guitar method in the world—so you know it's a time-tested learning approach.
For the li'l ones, we offer our Just For Kids course, which comprises 12 fun and easy lessons that teach children how to play guitar faster than ever before, using helpful techniques like one-finger chords.
Finally, our Classical Method uses the music of master composers like Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart to teach the basics of the classical style and technique.
At just $1.99 per lesson, our G-Plus Lessons are already a tremendous deal. But if you subscribe to our new G-PASS program, you get unlimited access to all of the G-Plus Lessons, as well as over 30,000 other video lessons, song lessons, guitar tabs, easy guitar tabs, chords/lyrics sheets, and more, for our low introductory rate of just $9.99 per month.
That's right: for the price you'd pay individually for just your first five lessons, you can get it all. So what are you waiting for? Sign up for G-PASS today, choose your learning path, and start playing guitar today!
