Biography

Fred Sokolow is a Los Angeles-based guitarist/vocalist. Though primarily a jazz artist, he's played everything from 5-string bluegrass banjo to rock to blues to country sessions and live gigs. He has toured with Bobbie Gentry, Jim Stafford and The Limeliters and accompanied countless others across the U.S. Sokolow has authored over 50 instructional books and videos, including the widely acclaimed Fretboard Roadmaps series for Hal Leonard Corporation.
