A first-call Nashville session guitarist who has appeared on thousands of recordings worldwide, Brent Mason is one of the most recorded - and scariest - pickers on the planet. He has won 16 Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association awards, being nominated every year since 1991. He won his first Grammy Award in 2009 for his part on Brad Paisley's "Cluster Pluck." He has played on albums by just about every major country artist of the past 20 years, including Alan Jackson, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, Toby Keith, and Martina McBride. He has also recorded on countless jazz, rock, blues, and R&B dates as well as film and television scores and commercials. In addition, Mason has released two albums of his own: "Hot Wired" and "Smokin' Section," the latter which features his brother Randy. For more, visit www.brentmason.com.
