Biography

Chris O'Byrne has been playing guitar for 20 years and is the featured instructor on Hal Leonard's Fast Track Guitar Method 1 DVD. He has spent time in several bands, playing everything from metal and pop to jazz and country. Chris is also the former executive editor of Guitar One magazine, and while there conducted lessons with some of the world's greatest guitarists, including Pat Metheny, Larry Carlton, John Scofield, and Warren Haynes. In addition to Guitar One, he has contributed to Guitar World, Guitar World Acoustic, and Bass Guitar.
