Biography

Marty Friedman, best known for his fretwork with Megadeth in the '90s, burst into the guitar spotlight in 1986, shredding alongside Jason Becker in the heavy metal group Cacophony. His unorthodox approach to phrasing and string bending, along with a penchant for Eastern-flavored note choices, have made him a truly unique guitar hero.
