Biography

Over the past 40 years, Happy Traum has made a name for himself as a performer, recording artist, editor, and educator. Besides authoring dozens guitar instruction books, Happy and his wife Jane founded Homespun Tapes in 1967, a music educational mail order company that's grown to include over 400 titles on CD, DVD, and video tape. Featuring professional musicians as instructors, Homespun specializes in acoustic musics, but covers jazz, pop, rock, and many other genres as well.
