Eddie Van Halen"Somebody get me a doctor!" Quite possibly the thought going through guitar legend Eddie Van Halen's mind when his left hand's thumb and pinky fingers locked up recently.

Thankfully for Eddie and Van Halen's legions of fans across the globe, the guitarist is now on the mend after hand surgery to deal with a triple threat diagnosis of a bone spur, a twisted tendon, and a cyst in his thumb joint.

"Surgery was a success, now I just have to let it heal," Van Halen told Rolling Stone in an exclusive interview for their daily rock blog. "In about four months, my hand will feel like I am 18 again. Thank God."
