Dream Theater's "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory" Named Fave Prog Album of All Time

Dream Theater: Scenes From a MemoryGood music prevails! Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory, the 1999 album by progressive hard rock icons Dream Theater, has landed the #1 position in Rollingstone.com's readers' poll for Your Favorite Prog Rock Albums of All Time. Marking their fifth studio release, Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory is a concept album about the story of a man named Nicholas and the discovery of his past life. It was created as a sequel to their song "Metropolis, Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper" off their 1992 album Images and Words. In 2011 Dream Theater was also voted #2 in Rollingstone.com's readers poll in the category of The Top 10 Metal Bands of All Time and #10 for The Best Prog Rock Bands of All Time.
