Biography
Shred guitarist Greg Harrison has been a professional musician for 11 years and is a published author (Shred Guitar: A Guide to Extreme Rock and Metal Techniques), touring musician (P.D.P.), clinician, producer, and is also the shred guitar instructor at the world renowned Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. Greg has performed on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival for the last three years alongside bands such as Slayer, Rob Zombie, Korn, and Cannibal Corpse, doing guitar clinics for Revolver Magazine and P.D.P. Greg has been featured such magazines as Guitar World, Premier Guitar, Guitar (Germany), and Revolver, among others. Greg continues to perform with his extreme metal band P.D.P. as well as doing video lessons for Guitar World and an upcoming release from Hal Leonard. In 2010 Greg became an endorsee of Schecter 8 string guitars, Line 6 amplification, Planet Waves cables, and D'addario strings. Greg owns and operates his own studio in Burbank Ca ( Heavyocity Records) , and he is always looking to produce new talent. P.D.P. will release their first LP in October 2010 ( recorded at Heavyocity Records ) with a subsequent tour directly after.
