Biography

Guitarist Josh Tovar was a professional musician for over 15 years. He studied jazz guitar at Northern Oklahoma College, but his heart lay in country music, inspired by the likes of Danny Gatton, Chet Atkins, and James Burton, among others. Tovar was also proficient in funk, rock, shred, and blues styles. He passed away in August 2014, at age 34, after an 18-month battle with brain cancer.
