Biography

Although guitarist Johnny Moeller hails from Austin, Texas, you won't hear any SRV or Albert Collins mimicry in his playing. Instead, Moeller has melded his own style informed not only by those Texas blues guitar heroes but also by the sounds of soul, jazz, funk, and rock 'n' roll. In addition to his main gig in the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Moeller also serves as the house guitarist for Severn Records, recording sessions with many of the label's artists. Moeller's latest solo album, Bloogaloo!, is available on Severn Records.
